Dear T-bird,
I am very pleased to announce that Thunderbird has once again been recognized as the No. 1 business school in the "International" MBA program specialty by U.S. News & World Report magazine. This is the 17th consecutive year Thunderbird has earned this distinction from U.S. News.
As you know, earlier this year Thunderbird was ranked No. 1 in International Business by the Financial Times in its annual worldwide ranking of full-time MBA programs. Our alumni network was recognized in 2011 when The Economist ranked Thunderbird No. 1 for "Internationalism of Alumni." Thunderbird's Executive MBA program is also top-ranked, earning a No. 3 ranking in The Wall Street Journal's most recent global rankings of Executive MBA programs.
Thunderbird's top rankings by these publications recognize our expertise in developing leaders who can successfully navigate a complex, interconnected global economy. Our graduates develop a unique combination of business skills, global mindset, and social responsibility that truly sets them apart in the world of management.
Because the U.S. News & World Report "Best Graduate Schools" ranking is determined by a survey of business school deans and MBA program directors from across the country, it is a good indicator of the strength of our reputation among an increasingly competitive group of international business education providers.
Thank you for all you do to uphold Thunderbird's legacy of excellence in global management, and congratulations on this accomplishment.
