Launched in 2006, Project C.U.R.E.’s First Ladies Luncheon is a fundraising event that brings awareness to the humanitarian efforts of First Ladies from around the world.

Each year, thousands of distinguished guests join together to learn about healthcare issues in the First Ladies country and raise funding to deliver life-saving medical supplies and equipment to the most underserved hospitals and clinics throughout her country. Breakfast with Senator Jeff Flake

A fantastic breakfast meeting with Senator Jeff Flake and his lovely wife Cheryl. Kendric and I were able to invite them to the Project C.U.R.E. luncheon in March with the First Lady of Kenya.

Global Health Advanced First Aid Course

With my philanthropic travels all around the world with Project C.U.R.E., the potential to experience a medical emergency is high.  I visit people in various medical clinics, hospitals and villages.  I've experienced places that have different food, terrains and climates than I'm used to, and certainly ones that have very different medical care and abilities to help themselves.  When I was told about a 24 hour global health advanced first aid course at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, I jumped at the chance to attend.

What a great experience I had learning new tools to help others.  I learned so much and was part of a great class of doctors, nurses, EMT's and others.  We all worked very hard together in extremely challenging scenarios to learn how to save and help our patients.  In particular, was our last exercise which was an imagined plane crash in the remote mountains of Bolivia.

Tenali, India Hospital Assessment for HarvestIndia.org and Project C.U.R.E.

Just finished two days here in Tenali doing hospital assessment for harvestindia.org. Projectcure.org will be sending much needed medical equipment and supplies in the near future. I visited another orphanage today as well as a nursing school and a high school that harvestindia.org runs!! What a great charity!!! I am traveling home in the a.m. 4 flights to get home. All across India then Africa then Europe then u.s.a to get to Arizona.
