A fantastic breakfast meeting with Senator Jeff Flake and his lovely wife Cheryl. Kendric and I were able to invite them to the Project C.U.R.E. luncheon in March with the First Lady of Kenya.

Making A World of Difference

"Making a world of difference" Dr. Doug Jackson of Project C.U.R.E., Sister Marilyn Lacy of Mercy Beyond Borders and Carmela Santiago of Hope4 Kids International were each honored tonight by Tempe sister cities as international humanitarian heroes!! Each story of their efforts was heartwarming and inspiring to all. Thank you Doug, sister Marilyn, and Carmela for all you are doing to help others!!!

Caborca, Mexico Medical Mission Day 3

Our last of eighteen cataract surgeries today! And our vision screening team served approx 840 kids and adults with free prescription glasses. The smiles and joy we saw and the impact on the lives of our patients is priceless.

Mexico Medical Mission Day 2

We worked hard as a team to complete twenty surgeries today.  We had 587 patients for vision screenings and were happy to provide many children and adults prescription glasses.  Impacting the lives of so many is heartwarming to all of us!!!  Kudos to Caborca Lions Club for being so hospitable and very helpful to all of us.

Mexico Medical Mission Day 1

On our way to my next medical mission!  Thirty to forty cataract surgeries and vision screening for hundreds of people in need.  We are all very excited to serve others!!!
